AMY GARLAND

As a child Amy and her family moved to Lezant near Launceston, Cornwall. Whilst growing up in the countryside she discovered her love for being outdoors, appreciating the surroundings and watching animals in their natural environment. She also had many pets ranging from hamsters to horses. Being the daughter of two well known artists, she has always been immersed in art and from a very young age she would experiment with different mediums.

In 2003 Amy and her partner started the renovation on a house located in the French countryside which offered them a more relaxed lifestyle, as a result Amy found the time to draw and develop her skills. In 2005 Amy had her first child in France. Returning to England, she decided to set up her own business, selling her artwork, wildlife drawings, prints and commissions of working dogs and other pets.
